How to get from Shenzhen to the embassy in Hong Kong

How to apply

Chinese nationals and foreign visitors living in Shenzhen, China can choose between applying for a visa through the embassy of Vietnam in Hong Kong or applying online for an approval letter to pick up the visa on arrival.

E-visa application

To apply for an e-visa online from Shenzhen, please follow these steps:

  1. Access our online e-visa application form.
  2. Upload .jpg images of your Chinese passport data page and a 4x6cm photo.
  3. Make the payment for the e-Visa fee (47 USD ~ 334 CNY)
  4. Wait 5-7 working days. The earliest possible would be 19:30 PM, local Shenzhen time on 10 May 2024.
  5. Receive evisa by email or download it on our status page.

Apply at the embassy

To apply for a visa at the embassy/consulate of Vietnam in Shenzhen, the following documents are REQUIRED:
