Re-entry visa required

Hello,
I have applied for a one month single entry visa on arrival
 I will be leaving Vietnam and flying to Cambodia for a few days and then flying back to Hanoi to only get an international flight.  So, I am  re-entering the county but only staying in the airport to catch a  flight.
Would I need a re-entry visa in this circumstance?
