Finland Visa exemption

Asked by Tiina Niemi | Mar. 08, 2018 09:58 About: Visa Exemption

Hello,
I’m a Finnish citizen and I’m coming to Vietnam for a period of time  Friday 22Dec - Saturday 6Jan. This totals to 15 days. Based on the table you have on your website it says Finland is visa exempt for less than  15 days. Does this mean I have to get a visa? Or am I allowed to be in  Vietnam 15 days without a visa?

 Looking forward to your advice!

Dear Tiina,
Thank you for contacting us.

As we know, visitors from Finland do not need a visa to enter Vietnam for a period of time up to 15 days. If you stay in the country for the exact  15 days, the visa is not required. However, it looks like you are staying in the country for 16 days from Dec 22 to Jan 06? Both arrival/departure dates will be taken into account for 15-day visa exemption.
