Border Crossing

Would like to apply online for convenience sake but will NOT be flying
directly in to Vietnam. At some point will be crossing from Cambodia
on my SEA travels. Can I get my visa sent to my address that way I
have it already prepared for when I board to Thailand? Or just have it
sent to my departing airport regardless?
